On some parameters the numerical value have a special meaning, which can be expressed as a text, for example the state of a state machine. To help the user to understand these parameters, the numerical values can be substituted by predefined texts.
These substitutional texts are defined in the parameter editor with the menu group "substitutional texts". With the menu option "edit substitutional texts" these texts can be entered or edited. the texts are stored automatically on the system. external given substitutional texts can be imported to the system by the menu option "import substitutional texts".
Edit of these Texts can only be done in a high access-level.
After calling the appropriate menu option, the window to edit the substitutional texts opens.

The texts are specified for one device. Because of this the device name and the range of versions (low to high) must be entered. This version number is the major version number set in parameter 2
The substitutional texts can be entered or edited with the button right of the field "Substitutional Texts"

On the left side a list of parameter ids with substitutional ids are given. A new parameter can be added with the Add Button.
On the right side of this window the properties of this parameter is displayed. The parameter id and the substitutional text List is shown. With a click on the button the List of substitutional texts for this parameter id is changed.

The same window for one parameter-id is opened. In this window The Texts for one Parameter is edited.
