Group Area
In the upper left part of the parametereditor window, all groups with parameters are displayed as a tree:
In the Trunk of this tree the device name with the software version and the interface type is displayed. On some devices a short name is displayed instead. In this case the device name, Software version and interface is displayed in braces afterwards.
Unter this trunk all parameter groups are displayed. A group can be opened by a double click on its name or by a single click on the +. The parameter of an open group are displayed in the parameter area.
with a right click on a parameter group the context menu is opened with the following items:
A saved parameterfile is loaded and transfered to the device. To load a file for looking into the parameter values the load function can be used.
The complete or the selected part of the parameterset is saved to a file.
The file format is either a binary format named bpf or a textual format named xml. Beside the parametervalue all meta-information like the parameter name, the description or the boundaries are saved.
The actual parameterset is compared to a file.
The parameterset of this device is read and stored afterwards to another device.
